ALRITE Application (Senior Capstone Project)

This group project was completed as part of an undergraduate course in Spring 2018. The ALRITE Application is an high fidelity mockup of an Android-based phone application to help health workers in low-resource areas distinguish between different respiratory ailments. Working with our sponsors, the UW School of Medicine, our team created and presented the mockup of the ALRITE application.

The summarized process of this page is still under construction, but there are some documents and artifacts that represent a detailed view of my contributions to this project.

In particular, I was in charge of the following project components:

  • Project manager for Ideation Phase

  • Facilitate 3 of 4 interviews with healthcare specialists

  • Conduct secondary research (1 of 4 competitive analysis reports)

  • Writing portions of four final reports

  • Creation of icons for poster and application

  • Portions of high fidelity screens

  • Inclusion of interactions in Proto.io

  • Attended 3 of 3 usability tests

Process Book

The process book is an individual component of the project detailing our team process throughout the capstone project.

I have provided a slideshow below including all pages within the process book.

Video Demo

The video demo showcases our project's problem space, intention, and design.
